Please join the Chamber Collaborative for a social media panel presentation and discussion featuring social media managers, consultants and web advertising experts.

Our goal is to feature social media managers from both large and small businesses, as well as representatives from creative and advertising agencies.

    Meet the Panel:

Jason Boucher is a Portsmouth-based social media and digital content strategist currently working at The University of New Hampshire as director of social media. Boucher considers himself a social media evangelist with a sustained passion for digital marketing and content creation. He has been a featured speaker at many higher education & social media conferences around the United States, including CASE, eduWeb, AMA (American Marketing Association) and Social Media Strategies Summit.

When he is not not working, Boucher collects vinyl records and hosts streaming radio shows. His free time is taken up by listening to way too much music, walks in the woods, kayaking, and taking orders from the cat.

Jonathan Day is a a self-proclaimed funtrepreneu?meaning he spends much of his free time acting in local theater, performing karaoke, helping lead exciting and dynamic non-profit organizations, having a cocktail on the decks and spending time with his daughter - better known as the poster child for Gen Z?s who brunch. After that he adds a healthy dose of community service by serving on three different nonprofit boards and attending community events as chair of the Ambassador Committee for the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth. Day also serves in the Air Force Reserves and is active in the Portsmouth VFW.

Day is just as passionate about his work at Centrus.  He works with some of the coolest clients and finds purpose in amplifying their brand. He aims to really teach clients how purposeful and targeted marketing will better position their organization for success. He takes particular pleasure in helping clients facilitate growth; which he does through his work at Centrus and also through making introductions to other people or organizations within the community. His ultimate goal is to help those he interacts with succeed, regardless of where they find the solution using the same ferocity that he seeks fun with to serve each and every one of his clients.

Lee Germeroth has more than a decade of experience providing digital marketing and social media marketing services to a wide range of organizations from small brick-and-mortar businesses to large national and international companies, and non-profits. He uses his diverse background experience to find the best solution for organizational challenges both large and small.

Caitlin Thayer is the operations manager at DARCI Creative, a full-service integrated marketing agency based in Portsmouth. Caitlin has been working in marketing and communications for more than 15 years and started her career with social media in 2007 (yes, 2007). Prior roles include communications director for the City of Amesbury, Mass., senior community / social media manager US for HolidayPirates Group and senior manager, social media for Matter Communications. She once participated in a panel called ?What Would Twain Tweet?? at The Mark Twain House & Museum in Hartford, Conn., where she determined Mark Twain would be a Twitter expert with his short, quippy quotes. Her favorite social media platform is Instagram, where she loves posting content related to books she reads and her three cats: Prue, Venus and Freya.
