  • CelebrateHER Educational Session #1: The Art of Mentorship: Cultivating Success and Impact

    Date and Time

    Thursday Mar 6, 2025
    9:30 AM - 11:30 PM EST

Our mentoriship series is a chance for women who work in the seacoast area to network, connect, and celebrate each other's achievements.

Our first session on March 6, sponsored by our host, the River House, will focus on The Art of Mentorship: Cultivating Success and Impact.

    About our moderator
Emma Stratton, Executive Director of Portsmouth Historical Society
Emma Stratton serves as the Executive Director of Portsmouth Historical Society, which invites over 28,000 visitors a year to experience Portsmouth history. Previously, she led the American Independence Museum in Exeter and has worked in museums across New England and Washington, DC. Passionate about community engagement, she strives to make history accessible for all ages. Emma serves on the Board of a local foundation, on the City of Portsmouth’s Archives Commission and Arts & Cultural Commission, and co-chairs the New England Museum Association’s Professional Affinity Group for Historic Sites.

    About our panelists

Corina Klein, founder of Ink 4 Pink
After surviving breast cancer, Corina Klein founded Ink 4 Pink in 2021, a nonprofit providing transformative tattoos for survivors to help them reclaim their bodies, boost mental health, and share healing through art. Corina also serves as vice president of Treasury Services and business relationship manager at Newburyport Bank, offering concierge-level service and expertise. She supports her husband’s business, Personal Nerd, and is a partner in the local restaurant Mr. Sippy BBQ. Balancing career and community impact, Corina’s own cancer journey fuels her passion for empowering others. Corina is also the winner of the recent 2025 CelebrateHER Award for nonprofit leader.

Lori Waltz, executive director, Leadership Seacoast
Lori's extensive background as a Certified Community Leadership Practitioner and trained facilitator reflects her dedication to fostering human connection and empowering individuals through community engagement. As the Executive Director of Leadership Seacoast, she has played a pivotal role in leading nearly 200 people in the Seacoast Region through the nonprofit's signature program, which is designed to discover, connect, and inspire.

Brinn Sullivan, assistant director for Portsmouth Recreation & Senior Services
Brinn, also known as the “parade queen” of Portsmouth, has spent the last 23-years working in the Recreation biz. Currently she's the assistant director for Portsmouth Recreation & Senior Services as well as the coordinator for the City’s annual Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting. This year will mark the 5th year for the special “Tree of Love” Valentine’s Tree in Market Square that Brinn created as an outdoor-covid-project but has continued due to the overwhelming response from the community. During her tenure with the Portsmouth Recreation, Brinn was integral in bringing the City’s new Senior Activity Center to fruition which is now the State and Seacoast’s premier hub for older adults to have fun, stay fit, travel, and enjoy many special events. She also lead-the-charge to get Portsmouth the prestigious “Age-Friendly” designation and has spoken at conferences nationally about Re-Branding Aging. Some of you may have heard her speak at November’s Creative Mornings at the Music Hall Loft. Brinn is also the recent 2025 recipient of the CelebrateHER Award for Large Business/Organization Leader
