Kat Edmonson is an award-winning songwriter and singer known for her blend of jazz, cabaret, and vintage pop. The New York Times praises her music as fresh as a spring bouquet, while NPR notes, Hearing Edmonson makes it virtually impossible to do anything but stop and listen. Raised on early-to-mid-20th century music and film, Kat skillfully combines original songs with familiar classics in her performances, sharing humorous anecdotes and philosophical musings. Her long-time band members provide sensitive accompaniment, allowing her to improvise freely on stage.
