PORTSMOUTH—GoodWork is pleased to welcome Brittany Wason to the team as fund development & communications associate.
Joining the now four-person team, Brittany began Jan. 7, 2025, and will be responsible for implementing fundraising strategies, assisting with donor relations, and supporting the organization's marketing and communication efforts.
“We are excited to have Brittany join the GoodWork team. She brings years of experience in marketing and communications, as well as local connections and insight. She will contribute greatly to our growing organization, and we are grateful for her help,” said GoodWork CEO, Molly Hodgson.
Brittany has worked in marketing and publicity for many small businesses and Seacoast nonprofits, including The Music Hall, Leadership Seacoast, and Portsmouth Poet Laureate Program. She curates the literary series at The Music Hall, bringing authors and thought leaders to the stage to promote new works.
A Seacoast native, she is currently serving on the board of Portsmouth Poet Laureate Program. Brittany is a proud graduate of Leadership Seacoast class of 2023, and was an ambassador for the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth.
Brittany is thrilled about this new role at GoodWork. “I am greatly looking forward to giving back to my community in this impactful way. The GoodWork team is small but mighty, and I’m eager to roll up my sleeves to help community members, nonprofits, and businesses.”
