DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Revolutionary day! Come to Exeter\, NH to take in the sights and sounds of the 29th American Independence Festival. Featuring historic battle re-enactments\, colonial artisan demonstrations provided through a generous grant from New Hampshire State Council on the Arts\, children's activities\, cannon firings\, crafts - including many New Hampshire Made artisans\, music\, food and more\, the Festival is one of the largest family-friendly events in New Hampshire.\n\n\n\nIn addition to the Festival\, downtown shops and restaurants will be open to provide visitors with a dynamic experience of a town whose history rivals that of any other in New England. New Hampshire's Revolutionary War Capital\, Exeter played a major role in helping found our nation. The American Independence Museum is a National Landmark Property and one of New Hampshire's crown historical jewels.
