DESCRIPTION:Not all of us grew up wandering about in the forest\, camping off-grid with family and friends\, and checking off lists of summits\, but everyone deserves to enjoy the outdoors and feel confident doing so!\n \n\nIn this Southeast and Seacoast series\, there will be no assumptions and no judgement! Learn the very basics like trail etiquite\, using a map\, and what goes in the pack\, and explore different outdoor hobbies like bird appriciating (birding for beginners)\, and foraging (what is and is not a snack). \n\n \n\nTo top it all off - we'll summit Mt. Major as a team! Mt. Major is the first summit for many New Englanders\, and we're glad to have you join us! \n\n \n\nThis is a 3 part series with different locations! Registration for this event also covers Beginner Outdoor Series 2 (September 25th\, 5:30-7:30) and Beginner Outdoor Series 3 (October 11th\, 10:30-2:30). Registration code for those events will be available at registration confirmation.
