DESCRIPTION:A dynamic discussion with Scheier collectors will take place during New Hampshire Antique Week at Discover Portsmouth at 10 Middle Street in Portsmouth\, NH. It?s all part of Art Round Town\, the popular Gallery Walk that takes place the first Friday of every month from 5-8 pm. Patrons are invited to tour Discover Portsmouth?s galleries at 5 pm\, seating at 5:30 pm\, and the event begins at 6 pm. The Collectors Panel focuses on the work of American potters Edwin and Mary Scheier whose work is featured in the museum?s annual exhibition. The panel will be moderated by the nonprofit?s Consulting Curator\, Gerald W.R. Ward\, and will feature Scheier collectors: Philip and Betsy Zea\, Joan Brownstein\, and Andrew Spahr\, Curator of Collections and Exhibitions at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester\, the institution of record for the Scheiers.
