DESCRIPTION:Liz Barbour\, professional cook and avid gardener\, takes participants on a virtual tour through her cottage-sized garden. She offers tips on using every inch of a small garden to maximize its beauty and its bounty using herbs\, edible flowers\, fruits\, and vegetables as part of an edible landscape. Participants learn about varieties of ornamental and edible plants as well as tips on how to plan ahead to truly enjoy the fruits of labor. Liz also offers a cooking demonstration complete with easy cooking technique tips and a sampling of two delicious recipes featuring fresh\, healthy ingredients. Liz Barbour began cooking professionally in the Boston area in 1992\; and started The Creative Feast in 2004. Liz's cooking demonstrations and recipes have been featured on New Hampshire Chronicle\, Channel 9's "Cooks Corner" and in various publications including New Hampshire Magazine. In 2017\, Liz published her first cookbook "Beautifully Delicious: Cooking with Herbs & Edible Flowers." Liz shares her skills as a working chef and entertaining communicator\, whose relaxed and humorous attitudes toward food demystify the cooking process.
