DESCRIPTION:Exhibit: Insightful! February 2 - March 9\n\n\n\nReception: Tuesday February 2 | 6 - 8 PM\n\nBraille Story Time (Ages 3 - 6): Saturday February 13 | 1 PM\n\nInteractive Art Project (All ages): Saturday February 13 | 2 PM\n\n\n\nThe League of NH Craftsmen partners with the NH Association for the Blind for a unique exhibit called Insightful! This show features high tactile and high contrast craft. Sighted and visually impaired visitors are encouraged to experience the work through touch (Braille text will be provided). Visit the library February 2 - March 9 to experience art in a new way!\n\n\n\nJoin us for a reception on Tuesday\, February 2 at 6 PM\, to include a presentation on the art of intarsia\, a form of wood inlay\, by artist Duane F. Martin.\n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, February 13\, we'll host two activities for families: Braille Story Time (Ages 3 - 6) at 1 PM\, and an interactive art project in the lobby at 2 PM. This exhibition will travel throughout New Hampshire in 2016\, but Portsmouth Public Library is the first to host!
