DESCRIPTION:A world wide celebration of fashion\, hosted in Portsmouth by the Retail Committee of the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce. The evening is a celebration of individual fashion and style. The downtown is the place to see and be seen on the Portsmouth fashion scene. \n\n\n\n Visit shops from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. for trunk shows\, special demonstrations\, snacks and libations. Stop by Popovers on Market Square to meet Miss Portsmouth Area\, and have your photo taken in our Tap Snap photo booth and uploaded to Facebook. Keep an eye out for the famous Flower Girls\, dressed in living flowers and flora\, designed by Marcia Hansen Design with materials supplied by The Flower Kiosk. Watch for paparazzi throughout the downtown\, shooting pictures of YOUR fashion and style. Even Jackie Kennedy may appear\, showing off the sophisticated style of her time. Raffle tickets for shopping prizes and two round trip tickets to New York City on C&J Bus Lines will be handed out through the evening.\n\n\n\n Join us from 8:00 - 10:00 at the Hilton Garden Inn for a Nightcap Party and Fashion Runway Show. Snacks\, cash bar\, music by DJ Rhyz\, and a slide show of pictures taken throughout the evening by the paparazzi will keep you entertained. Raffle prizes will be drawn after the Fashion Show. Must be present to win.\n\n\n\n Kick off your fashion mojo on Wednesday night\, September 3rd\, by attending the first showing by The Music Hall of the NEW Yves Saint Laurent biopic.
