DESCRIPTION:Portsmouth Music and Arts Center presents the 2026 Granite State New Horizons Music Summit Combined Concert\, featuring adult community concert bands from across NH. New Horizons is an adult music program for people returning to an instrument or learning one for the first time. Each year\, the Summit rotates among four host communities\; this spring\, the combined concert comes to Portsmouth as musicians from the Lakes Region\, Concord\, Monadnock\, and Portsmouth unite as one large concert band for a shared program. The performance will feature a family-friendly mix of traditional concert band repertoire\, including a Sousa march\, a Swahili folk hymn\, and more.
