DESCRIPTION:On the first Saturday of June ever year\, the Annual WOKQ Chowder Festival kicks off our summer season at Prescott Park Arts Festival. A staple of summer in Portsmouth\, NH with nearly twenty restaurants worth of piping hot chowder recipes to enjoy\, live music and refreshing drinks\, this event is always an incredibly great time!\n\n\n\nThis event is FREE for members!\n\n\n\nThis taste-testing affair has become a New England institution for chowder lovers in the tri-state region. An impecible roster of amazing restaurants throughout the seacoast join us to introduce their mouthwatering chowder recipes to compete for the Best Chowder title and to take home the Golden Ladle!  Recipes in the past have included Smoked Scallop Chowder\, Manhattan Chowder\, Vegetarian Chowder\, Corn Chowder and Spicy Seafood Chowder. \n\n\n\nMusic is provided courtesy of  WOKQ.
