Museum collections include the Hirshhorn Museum of Art (Washington D.C)\, National Museum of American Art (Washington D.C)\, Weatherspoon Museum (North Carolina)\, and the Museum of Fine Arts\, Houston.\n\n\n\nFor more than 20 years his art criticism and social commentary has appeared in publications including The Brooklyn Rail\, ARTnews\, Flash Art\, Art Papers\, and The Journal of Art. He has authored or contributed essays to numerous monographs and exhibition catalogues\, and is a past president of the United States chapter of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA). He currently lives and works in Long Island\, New York.
