SUMMARY:Prescott Park Arts Festival presents: Steve Earle
DESCRIPTION:River House Restaurant Concert Series\n\nThe much beloved troubadour and multiple-Grammy Award winner returns to Prescott Park! A protege of Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark\, Steve Earle quickly became a master storyteller in his own right\, penning songs that would be recorded by Johnny Cash\, Willie Nelson\, Waylon Jennings\, Travis Tritt\, Joan Baez and countless others.\nSteve Earle and the Dukes are bringing their Copperhead Road 30th Anniversary Tour to the park\, along with his new album\, So You Wanna Be An Outlaw\, which Rolling Stone hailed as "an intensely raw and often delightfully clamorous nod to the fellow outliers the young Texan gravitated toward when he arrived in Nashville in 1974."\n\nCopperhead Road is Earle's third studio album and often referred to as his first "rock record." The New York Times listed it as one of its recommended "Sounds Around Town" the week it was released\, and Time Magazine included it in their Critics Choice of the year. Rolling Stone has listed it as one of "50 Country Albums Every Rock Fan Should Own\," and said it "established Earle as country's left-wing conscience."\n\nIf you are a member you should have received an email with a link to reserve your table. For any questions\, call the Box Office at 603-436-2848.\n\nIf you are not a member\, tables and blankets will be available on May 21st*. Become a member today!\n\n*Tables are subject to availability and are first come\, first served
