DESCRIPTION:Seacoast Mental Health Center has launched a new program: Addiction Services\, which includes Medication Assisted Treatment - Suboxone Program. \n\n\n\nAddiction Services will be provided by: Substance Use Disorder Program Manager\, Diane M. Fontneau of Rochester\, NH who holds an MS degree from Springfield College School of Human Services and is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC). Having worked in NH and southern California she brings a range of experiences to the position including inpatient services for adolescents\, adults\, and families and intensive outpatient individual and group therapy for substance abusing perinatal populations (pregnant and parenting women).  The Medication Assisted Treatment -Suboxone program will be provided by\, Joshua P.  Cole M.D.  a board certified psychiatrist with 25 years of experience. Dr. Cole has an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Classical Studies from Tufts University and is a graduate of University of Massachusetts Medical School.  Dr. Cole has spent most of his career caring for patients with severely debilitating mental illness. Dr. Paul D. Lidstrom and Dr. John J. Miller\, both board certified psychiatrists are also part of the program. \n\n\n\nDirector of Adult Services\, Patty Driscoll\, LICSW\, acknowledges\, "This new program is part our efforts to better meet the needs of the community in the wake of the current Opioid epidemic. As a community based mental health center we feel obligated to identify emerging needs\, to create services to meet those needs and to collaborate with local organizations to improve the delivery of a continuum of mental health care services.\n\n\n\nFounded in 1963\, the mission of Seacoast Mental Health Center is to provide a broad\, comprehensive array of high quality\, effective and accessible services to residents of the eastern half of Rockingham County.
