SUMMARY:Sarah Shook & The Disarmers at 3S Artspace
DESCRIPTION:Sarah Shook & The Disarmers\n\nSaturday\, June 24\n\nDoors 7pm / Show 8pm\n\n$15 Member / $17 General Admission Advance/ $20 General Admission Day of Show\n\nAll ages / Standing\n\n\n\nNorth Carolina's Sarah Shook sings with a conviction and hard honesty sorely lacking in much of today's Americana landscape. Always passionate\, at times profane\, Sarah stalks/walks the line between vulnerable and menacing\, their voice strong and uneasy\, country classic but with contemporary\, earthy tension. You can hear in their voice what they've seen\; world weary\, lessons learned or not but always defiant. They level-steady mean what they say. Writing with a blunt urgency so refreshing these days it's almost startling Sarah's lyrics are in turn smart\, funny\, mean\, and above all\, uncompromising. The Disarmers hit all the sweet spots from Nashville's Lower Broad to Bakersfield and take Sarah's unflinching tales out for some late-night kicks. At times\, it's as simple and muscular as Luther Perkins' boom-chicka-boom\, or as downtown as Johnny Thunders. The Disarmers keep in the pocket\, tight and tough.\n\n\nThe Disarmers line-up is currently Jack Foster on drums\, Blake Tallent on guitar\, Andrew Lambie on bass\, and Nick Larimore on pedal steel.\n\n \n\n\n\n----\n\nClick here to learn about our Health & Safety policies and measures.\n\nMasks are strongly encouraged but not required during your visit to 3S Artspace.\n\nBy purchasing a ticket and/or visiting 3S\, you are agreeing to follow 3S Artspace's health & safety requirements as they are on the date of your visit (not at the time of purchase). There may be exceptions or changes to our requirements for upcoming events\, based on factors such as artist requirements and public health mandates.\n\nAttendee Promise & Health Acknowledgement\n\nAll attendees agree to follow 3S Artspace policies and posted instructions during their visit. All attendees should evaluate their risk in determining whether to visit 3S. By entering the building\, attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and confirm they will adhere to both local and CDC quarantine requirements.\n\nCOVID-19 Warning\n\nThere is risk of exposure to COVID-19 in public spaces and there is no guarantee those attending an event will not be exposed to COVID-19.
