Komen  New Hampshire Race for the Cure\, a 5K Run / Walk\, kicks off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday\, May 13 at the Strawbery Banke Museum\, in historic downtown Portsmouth\, New Hampshire. The race is a family friendly event with fun for everyone. A free Kids' 50-yard Dash\, Silent Auction\, Survivor Celebration and other great activities will cap the day's festivities. Race for the Cure allows Komen New England to support thousands of local families through funding for critical breast care services and groundbreaking research. There are many ways to get involved in the race. Participants can run\, walk\, volunteer\, donate or become a corporate sponsor to help Komen reach its Bold Goal of reducing breast cancer deaths by 50% in the United States by 2026.
