DESCRIPTION:On June 24th\, The Music Hall in Portsmouth NH will open its doors to the community for an open house and a food drive to benefit Gather! Community members are invited to bring a bag of food\, which will be placed on a seat in the theatre. The goal is to fill each seat with a bag of staple food items such as canned tuna\, low-sugar jelly and peanut butter\, and beans. Gather's Meals 4 Kids program distributed 10 meals/week for each local child who participates in the public school's free and reduced lunch programs. The 'Fill the Hall' food drive goes a long way to help bridge the gap of food insecurity for these kids over the summer months!
