DESCRIPTION:Trend Talks\, a cooperative program between The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth and Leadership Seacoast\, will hold its next panel discussion\, The Military's Economic Impact on the Seacoast on Tuesday\, October 30\, from 8-9:30 a.m.\, Granite State College\, 51 International Drive\, Portsmouth. Sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank\, the event is free and open to the public\, Chamber members\, and Leadership Seacoast alumni and prospective candidates.\n\n\n\nThis session will feature guest speakers who will provide an overview of the significant economic impact the military has in the Seacoast region. Col. John Pogorek\, Commander of the 157th Air Refueling Wing\, New Hampshire Air National Guard\, and Captain David Hunt\, Commander of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard will also discuss operations and staffing\, future opportunities\, and the challenges these organizations face. \n\n\n\nThe Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth and Leadership Seacoast have partnered to bring fresh\, relevant and timely information to the public in the core Leadership Seacoast topics of justice\, education\, arts/culture\, economic development\, government\, health and human services and the environment.
