14th Annual Touch-A-Truck Fundraiser

The Richie McFarland Children’s Center (RMCC) will hold its 14th Annual “Touch-A-Truck” fundraiser on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 from 9:00am to 1:00pm (NEW TIME THIS YEAR) at Pease International Tradeport. The rain date is Sunday, September 23rd only if absolutely necessary. Thank you to DF Richard Energy for being this year’s Exclusive Platinum Sponsor for the event. Last year there were over 2000 people in attendance, this year we hope for more! Construction equipment, trucks, coach buses, oil delivery trucks, landscaping equipment, limousines, and emergency vehicles will be on hand for children and adults to get a close look at, and when appropriate, be able to sit in, climb on and explore. Tickets are $5.00 per person, not to exceed $20.00 per family and can be purchased at the event. All proceeds will support the Richie McFarland Children’s Center. RMCC is an early childhood program dedicated to helping children from birth to age six reach their full developmental potential. Whether your child has special needs or is in need of special encouragement, our top-notch, certified therapists partner with you as parent and caregiver to identify areas in which your child needs support, provide speech, occupational and/or physical therapy and empower your family with individualized, child-specific education as well as guidance in accessing community resources.
