Join us for a discussion about the establishment of the new Portsmouth Housing Huddle and how disparate groups are coming together to identify housing solutions for millennials, our workforce, young professionals, and empty nesters.
Robin Comstock: Seacoast Workforce Housing Coalition, Executive Director,
Comstock will provide an overview of the vision and mission of the WHC and how the organization’s program of work directly impacts Portsmouth employers and our economy . Robin will also highlight the newly established Portsmouth Housing Huddle: www.seacoastwhc.org
George Reagan: NHHFA, Housing Awareness Program Administrator
Reagan will overview the state of housing affordability and its impact on economic growth and stability . George will also discuss a recent employer survey on the impact of housing on business, and will review a recent study on the economic impact of housing supply on employers and their business: www.nhhfa.org.
Rebecca Perkins: City of Portsmouth, City Councilor, Chair of the Housing Committee
Perkins will expand on her extensive background on the economic and social impact of the issue of housing upon Portsmouth.
