“Run Through History” Half Kilometer Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, 1 p.m.

About the Half Kilometer Walk/Run:
A half-k run? Not a typo! Join Strawbery Banke for the second annual "Run Through History" Half Kilometer. Enjoy 260 years of architectural heritage in one loop that can be walked, jogged, or ran on the historic campus of the Museum. Historical costumes are encouraged as is bringing a watch for self-timing.

Many thanks to DJ Skooch for spinning musical favorites as runners and walkers proceed through and return from the route. All participants receive a swag bag including a commemorative event sticker.

Registration: * Participant (5 and over): $20 donation * Children under 5, free Proceeds from the run benefit the "History Within Reach" program, providing workshops to economically underserved schools that would not otherwise be able to afford field trips.

Volunteering: Opportunities include assisting before and during the event with tasks such as stuffing swag bags, assisting with registration/check-in, directing walkers/runners, and more.
