"'Apocalypse WOW!' is the juxtaposition of the inevitable — death, sadness, loss — with the will to rage against them making Bella’s Bartok’s latest offering so irresistible. Our rage doesn’t take the form of anger or bitterness. It’s the rage of stubbornly holding onto a moment of happiness even in the darkest moments. By the time the album ends, you will be cleansed, you'll be able to stare into the abyss of hopelessness and despair, and choose hope." –Bella's Bartok
Live your fantasy and embrace the stranger side of life with Bella’s Bartok, a band known for raucous theatrical performances and an outspoken political message of finding hope in a world beset by cruel uncertainty. With utter joy, they seamlessly blend a rich cacophony of sound and soul into their music with influences ranging from Punk to Folk and Pop to Americana.
Let your freak flag fly high, fiercely and free, throw your societal inhibitions to the wayside and seek comfort in the warm sonic embrace of Bella’s Bartok. We are the night and you are bound to boogie. Floors may be broken but hearts will be mended.
About Bitter Pill: Influenced by a wide spectrum of genres, Bitter Pill creates music that defies easy classification. They are a tight-knit family (literally, a father and daughter) who play a dark and anachronistic twist of folk, blues, jazz, rock, and country.
Bitter Pill delves into the bittersweet complexities of life, death, love, hate, and the downright silly. Their lyrics are a poetic exploration of everyday life and harsh social commentary, accompanied by melodies that range from hauntingly melancholic to explosively anthemic.
They offer a musical remedy that is both bitter and sweet – a pill to swallow, an experience to savor – let the music be your cure.
