Location
The intersection of Central Avenue, Washington Street and Henry Law Avenue, just in front of the museum. The course runs up Central Avenue to Chapel Street, up Portland Avenue and back, finishing with a run across the bridge and back around to Henry Law Park.
Post-race activities, including an awards ceremony and refreshments, will take place in Henry Law Park following the race.
Fees/Admission
Registration will be open through Chronotrack on February 1, 2017. Please note that this race is capped at 1,200 participants so don't wait until the last minute! 100% cotton t-shirts will go to all 5k participants who register by April 3, 2017. Race fee is $22 in advance, $25 on race day.
Children up to age 12 can register for Fun Run: $8 in advance, $10 on race day

The Children's Museum's Annual 5K Road Race and Children's Fun Run events are held each spring to ensure that a visit to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire is possible for everyone! The 5K Race is part of the Seacoast Road Race Series and held in downtown Dover, with a start and finish in front of the Children's Museum of New Hampshire.
2017 5K RACE: We are the first race of the Seacoast Road Race Series once again and include an official competitive racewalker division. Registration will be open through Chronotrack on February 1, 2017. Please note that this race is capped at 1,200 participants so don't wait until the last minute! 100% cotton t-shirts will go to all 5k participants who register by April 3, 2017. Race fee is $22 in advance, $25 on race day.
Children up to age 12 can register for Fun Run events including a 50-yard dash, and 1/4 and 1/2-mile races. All Fun Run participants receive a blue ribbon, plus water, snacks, face painting and more. Fee for 1/4 and 1/2-mile races is $8 in advance, $10 on race day. No fee for 50-yard dash.
Interested in having your entry fee waived? Consider collecting pledges to sponsor your run. Not only will your entry fee be waived but the money you raise in pledges helps provide free access to the Children's Museum of New Hampshire for families in difficult circumstances. The top three runners who collect the most pledge will receive a prize!
