Service Dogs NH receives charitable gaming support from Revo Casino in Dover to assist service dog owners across the state

DOVER– Service Dogs NH received $41,509.86 in charitable gaming proceeds following its run at Revo Casino in Dover, providing critical support for service dog owners who need financial assistance with veterinary care, medication and advocacy services.

Service Dogs NH works statewide to help qualified service dog owners cover the cost of veterinary bills and medical needs for their dogs. The organization also focuses on education and advocacy, working with businesses, landlords and the public to increase awareness of service dog laws, etiquette and access rights.

Funds raised through charitable gaming helped Service Dogs NH provide direct financial assistance to service dog owners, including support for a recent tooth extraction for a service dog. The proceeds also supported the organization’s education and advocacy efforts, including presentations for local chambers of commerce, work with state legislators on policy issues, participation in state-level boards and commissions, and an upcoming presentation for the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority.

“As a former service dog owner, it is important to keep your dog healthy and happy,” said Brendan Madden of Service Dogs NH. “Our partnership with Revo Casino allows us to make a significant impact in improving the lives of service dogs in New Hampshire.”
