  • The Week Ahead: Lots going on this week -- including a Business After Hours on Thursday!

    Hello dear reader!

We are deeply delighted to hear the feedback from this spring’s Restaurant Week! And, the good news is—it's not over until Saturday. Plus, we want to give an extra shoutout to the initiative that Northeast Credit Union is supporting for the second Restaurant Week in a row:  They say, "We are thrilled to once again support organizations working to resolve food insecurity in our communities. For every Restaurant Week Meal purchased*, we will donate $5 to food pantries at area colleges which provide access to vital, nutritious food choices to those furthering their education.” Visit https://necu.org/nourish to learn more.  ALSO: Click the top photo to see photos by Stephen Twitchell of Buoy Creative taken during the Restaurant Week Kickoff on April 19 at our terrific host restaurant, Martingale Wharf. The photos feature many shots (pun intended?) of the M.S Walker Cocktail Competition expertly and annually run by Annie and Casey. This year’s winner is Ray Brandin of Sol Southern Kitchen & Lounge. No stranger to Portsmouth, or Portsmouth’s hospitality hungry—big ups Ray.  Please visit RestaurantWeekPortsmouth.com to see all of Restaurant Week’s supporters and participants. You make us shine, and smile.   And sometimes top us with the perfect garnish.  My best,  Jennifer Stevens Director of Engagement (& Shenanigans)
