  • Volunteer & Board Recruitment Fair Presented by Pro Portsmouth & the Portsmouth Public Library

PORTSMOUTH—Pro Portsmouth and the Portsmouth Public Library are pleased to announce the Spring Volunteer and Board Fair on Tuesday, April 15 from 5:15 to 7 p.m. in the Levenson Community Meeting Room of the Library.

According to Pro Portsmouth’s executive director, Barbara Massar, “Our goal is to connect the local community to Seacoast organizations in a relaxed group setting. We believe an important aspect to recruiting volunteers, and potential board members, is to discuss our missions, goals and needs, face to face. This “fair” will provide the community with the opportunity to do just that.”

The event features 16 local non-profits: 3S Arts, Black Heritage Trail, Cross Roads House, Gather, The Gundalow Co., HAVEN, Kiwanis Club of the Seacoast, NH Outright (Seacoast Outright), NH Theatre Project, Players’ Ring, Port City Makerspace, Portsmouth Community Fridge, Portsmouth Historical Society, Pro Portsmouth, Strawbery Banke Museum, and WSCA Portsmouth Community Radio.
