Laney & Lu, 360 Route 1 Bypass, Portsmouth
$5–$10 suggested donation
Create art and share your words at Painting Poetry — an evening of open mic poetry and live, improv painting inspired by the spoken word, all supporting the Portsmouth Poet Laureate Program.
You’re welcome to stay for the full evening or simply drop in for part of it. A shared canvas (or two!) will be available for anyone who feels inspired to paint while the poetry unfolds.

The Famous Joanne Jackson from Hampton is a very small (only 5’4”) At-Large Board Member for The Poetry Society of New Hampshire and <wait for it> the eventual host of The Poetry Show (on the radio) every TBD on WSCA-FM 106.1 or streaming at WSCAFM.org. Joanne writes with you – the audience – in mind, and has seriously been called . . . entertaining.
Come listen, paint, read, or simply soak it all in. 🎨📖
