Voices from the Heart sings “Joy Returning!” with 200 a cappella women's voices. Director, Joanne Connolly, takes the audience on a musical world tour to South Africa, Croatia, Scotland, the Torres Islands, Nigeria, the Congo, and back home to the U.S. From a Zulu song of celebration, to a Cape Town song and dance announcing who we are, from a Southern Gospel arrangement of “Amazing Grace” to a sweet Croatian lullaby, from a beautiful American love song, to a Scottish jazzy ballad that asks to be granted wings to fly above “this poor sorry world'.......the songs are sure to lift the heart and be a balm for the spirit.
